Beijing International Chinese College successfully organized the Morocco Cultural Week at the Maizidian Community Service Center, a cultural event dedicated to the promotion of the long-term friendship between China and the Kingdom of Morocco.
During the 4-day event, friends of the Kingdom of Morocco had the opportunity to learn more about the country of Morocco, try Moroccan food, Moroccan tea and participate in a Moroccan fair. In addition, the visitors took part in the making of Chinese crafts related to Morocco, like Chinese paper cutting of symbols of Morocco and Chinese traditional Dough Figurines.
Speaking at the opening day event, Mr. Mohamed Ouaoua, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, said ‘We are glad to share the culture of Morocco with the Chinese community and friends of Kingdom of Morocco and we would like to extend our thanks to BICC for organizing this wonderful event.’
Beijing International Chinese College was the organizer of this event, in cooperation with The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, The Beijing Women’s International Center and Maizidian Sub-district Office.
