BICC officially started the Seminar on Chinese Culture and Economy for Government Officials from Developing Countries

May 20 – Beijing International Chinese College held today the opening ceremony of the 2015 Seminar on Chinese Culture and Economy for Government Officials from Developing Countries.

 

Thirty-seven government officials from 15 countries including Egypt, Jamaica and Zambia, are participating in the seminar that spans over 28 days of lectures and field trips. The government officials will also study Chinese Mandarin and take part in Chinese culture classes. During the planned field trips, they will visit several government institutions and enterprises in Xi’an and Shenzhen.

 

Mr. Yang Wei, Vice-president of Beijing International College, attended the opening ceremony and said ‘We hope that this seminar will serve as a platform for the participants to learn about China in a comprehensive and objective way’.

 

The seminar is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce and the organizer is Beijing International Chinese College.
